Scouting for Abaddon

I spent the end of my summer doing edits on the pilot script for Abaddon and getting pre-production taken care of. One of my favorite parts of Pre-pro is scouting. For Abaddon this was a special treat as most of the film will be shot in the woods. I love a good escape from urban life going deep into the woods looking for natures perfectly imperfect designs. After a few trips upstate and a couple down in central New Jersey I came back to the city I love to do some urban exploring. I had yet to see "the Vessel" at Hudson Yards so I took the long walk up the maze of stairs, grabbed some photos and then walked the highline to my favorite view in New York City. Dusk in the Boom Boom Room at the top of the Standard Hotel.  Rolling into the fall felt good. Can't wait to get on set.
A Weeping Beech tree at Rockwood Hall in Westchester.

some eerie set ups deep in the woods of Jersey.
