This winter is time to prepare for next year. We started out the month by collecting some more location photos for 'Westchester'. And then we went on a location scout for next years project. Still on the HusH! Hush!. We are in the final stages of our editing for the TV Trailer. It will be up in 2009. Be on the lookout for that on our youtube page. Here are some pic's from the scout with famed Los Angeles Photographer "Touch". . A picture of me on the set that will be revealed next year.@ the Beach with Touch, and @ Playland with Biz partner Rob Scalere.

I believe November is a time to be thankful. Exercise a little bit of humility and gratitude. I have a lot to be thankful for. All of the work I do is effected one way or another by my friends and family. I spent most of the month playing catch up on some rap work from 'Westchester' and also started to prepare next years feature film ( still on the hush, hush). I did take some days off here and there to enjoy some time away from my work. Some pics of me and the boys up in Albany for a Madball show. Repping with my NYC Iron Maiden shirt with Grizz and Skid..

As we get closer to principal photography the days seem to get shorter. An associate of mine told me, " as a director you'll always wish you had more prep time Donnie". So I made sure the cast rehearsed enough and my crew had enough time to get set. The pics are of, "Rome" played by Joey Bono with lead,"Twin" played by Andrew Keegan. And also my " Valisi familigia" played by Michelle Vindigni, Tara Canastraci, Sarah Schmitz, and Vincent Vangardi.

Staying devoted is key in making dreams come true. All those who have come from nothing know exactly what I speak of. Big congrats to D.M.S. crew for the release of the Frank 151 book, I wish I could have made the party in L.A. I spent most of the month casting and doing locations for "Project Westchester". It was eventful and now it is almost time to wrap pre-production and begin production.. then I will also tell a little bit about our next project that is in development now...... shhh!!! it's still our best kept secret.

SO July is DONE... GONE... Where did it go? I don't have a clue, but it's definitely gone till next year. I needed another July this year to catch up on some work. Let's see if I can manage August.
I did catch a good Yankee game with Shea Gallante, and also spent some good time walking around the L.E.S. of manhattan with Chris "Skid" (ceo-Blockwork Clothing). We showed photographer touch around a bit. Then hit up "Corio" a few times with promoter and long time friend Dave Delzio. And we finalized the graffix for "Westchester". All done under our Art Director and another long time friend, Vincent Ficarra "FACT ONE". Of course he's from Wetschester!

I'm playing catch up as always. But honest I love the fast lane. I've popped my head up in Island Def Jam to show my new artist Natasha Nicholson to A&R and close friend Alex Shenitsky. He has a lot of platinum awards in his office for a man of his age. Then I made my way out to a few movie premiers and parties. Eating good has been important too! So I have to check in with Long time friend Shea Gallante, owner of Cru in the village. He is a gift from the gods in the world of fine dining. Then it was out to visit the Eye On It offices and studios in Brooklyn to check in on film director Hezues R'.

LA was the right thing to do.. I missed my lady on the other coast. The room was dope. Right smack dab in the middle of the strip! The trip was a success! Kaos 13 tore down the 'House of Blues' on a Friday night. I had a good night hanging with G Fella, Grizz, Diablo, Sick Jacken, Peter Greene and a special treat bumping in to my all time favorite photographer Estevan Oriol. I made a stop down in Diego to visit Bobby Tribal and check out their operation. I must say Tribal Gear is an amazing company. From the style right down to the employees and family that rep it!!

2008 was planned for many years as being the year my company would make it's largest impact.
I celebrated New Year's in Westchester New York with my two business partners and good friends John Lathan, and Rob "G Fella" Scalere. While the women were dancing to hip hop music, we where in the kitchen drinking and discussing world domination..
