Aldo Tambellini

I interviewed an Italian artist/writer/activist for my upcoming book. It was an honor and pleasure to have some form of collaboration with the great Aldo Tambellini. Around the time of our interview he was hosting his show "Black Zero" at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York. His work is dark and deep and right up my alley. He created most of his works which consists of paintings, sculptures, lumagrams, poetry and film in the 1960's while living in the lower east side. I hope to have one hanging in my entrance way soon.

Armand Assante & Peter Greene

In September I attended two film Premiers. The first was for actor friend Peter Greene who starred in a low budget gangster flick shot in New York City, written and directed by famed Jerky Boys creator Kamal Ahmed. The second was an eye opening documentary about the amazing journey and 20 year development of Kazakhstan. Directed and narrated by Armand Assante, the film shows the amazing political, social and spiritual development of one of the fasting growing nations in the world. The work is a gem and an enlightening experience. I recommend you find a way to see it.

Eye Ra Haze

Eye Ra Haze is a nu metal/ alternative metal band I have been developing for a few years. They are prepared to take 2012 by storm. The band is a refreshing look at the dark side of music. Natasha Nicholson on lead vocals, paired up with bass player David Robinowitz, and guitarist Nicole Papastavrou. The band is auditioning drummers and has their sights locked in on a prodigy. Look for Eye Ra Haze in 2012. You wont be disappointed.

Don Capria visits Kaves in his "City of Dreams"

This month I stayed indoors doing a lot of work my somewhat secret, biography project. I stepped out to check out some amazing artwork done by world renown graffiti artist KAVES. He displayed some of his latest and greatest pieces at a gallery in Tribecca. The night was a a good time and the work was awe inspiring.

Don Capria is Raising Dillinger

This month I finished putting together a package for a reality TV series Raising Dillinger. A TV series that opens the door into the home of an American family like we’ve never scene before. Covered in tattoos and raw behavior, the two stars, Danny and Natasha, who have spent their entire lives in the spotlight, must learn how to live selflessly with one another as they raise their baby boy, Dillinger. Check out a few screen shots. Hopefully we can put some real back into reality ans see this family on the tube in 2012.

Another Co-op with Vincent Ficcarra

This month I got to spend a few days collaborating with my close friend, Vincent Ficarra. Vin was working on a branding and imaging campaign for the newest installation in the Rivington Hotel; Co-Op. The spot is the brainchild of Alan Philips and was designed by DeVinn Bruce. While he handled all of the design work I got to join him for a photo shoot that placed our photobooth flicks on the long entrance to the location.

Ciao to Shea Gallante @ Ciano!

Shea Gallante has proven himself again to be the top of his game. He took a quick break from the city and did some consulting work for a few restaurants and then comes back without missing a beat. He open Ciano with partner Stratis Morfogen (Philippe) on 22nd ave just off the corner of Park. The Menu offers lunch and dinner 7 days a week and everthing I sampled was amazing. He a is a true artist, Ciano is the place to go if you want to treat yourself to the best! - I also saw the release of a music video I produced with director Mike Distelkamp. Madball's All or Nothing. Check out the New York Hardcore legends first single off their new record Empire!
