Director's Cut World Premiere & Official Trailer drop

We launched a few items for the film in Sept. and then a very big world premiere. First, to kick off some action on our website we launched our first T-shirt design. The poster art on a cozy tee is a must have so I bought two. Next up Bloody Disgusting did the exclusive official red band theatrical trailer drop for our film. Link below if you didn't get a chance to watch that yet. Mid -month I was among the lucky to witness the most amazing live show I've ever seen and heard - Hans Zimmer at the Garden.... On His Birthday !! If you get a chance DONT MISS THIS LIVE. And at the end of the month me and a few of the cast made our way out to Chi-Town for our world premiere at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. We had an awesome weekend there coming home with a big win and also getting some amazing pizza from Sal Oliveri at his spot in Logan Square - Vito & Angelo's Pizzeria

Director's Cut - Private Screening Event

I spent a few years from the script to the color lab putting work in for Director's Cut. Our plan from day one was to introduce some new characters and a new story to the world of horror with Director's Cut. After months of tireless work we finally got a chance to screen it for a few folks and see what they have to say. The feedback has been beyond positive and now it's time to dig in and raise the marketing money to make sure this hits as many eyes as it can before Halloween. Can't wait to bring it to the masses.

A new addition to the Capria family + Soft Faith & Omerta updates

This month was my lady's birthday so we took a trip up to the Catskills for a few days to escape the concrete streets and sirens. We had a great time up in Neversink, good coffee, hiking, relaxing and a very cool night of thunderstorms. We got a new addition this month - his name is "Bud" he is a shih-poo pup and he is the best little friend a guy could ask for. I worked on a design for an Omerta T shirt: the idea comes from Frank Sheeran and his book: "I heard You Paint Houses" so we did a little play on the title and made a painting / carpentry company shirt in his name. Then I got to team back up with Noah again - this time on a pop music video for my buddy Aaron in his new wave project "Soft Faith" Video should be out soon - more info on that next month.

Director's Cut X Poster X Teaser drop

Finally able to announce this film I have been working on for so long. Rue Morgue magazine did the exclusive drop for our new teaser and our poster designed by the great Nino Cammarta. I spent a week down in New Orleans working on the final sound mix for the movie. The gents at APEX POST did an amazing job on the mix.  While I was in town I ate some of the best food that week and hit up a few really amazing bars and then went on a journey to City Park to see some of the oldest oak trees in the country.

Punta Cana to Knoxville

I think March has been a good month. Noah and I started off with the first round of notes during a color grading session at Company 3. These guys are the best in the business and we were lucky enough to not only work with their incredible team, but to also have Drew Geary coloring our film. Mid-month was a trip back to Punta Cana where I celebrated my 50th birthday in the sun. Secrets resort is highly recommended if you have ideas of visiting DR. We then took a trip down to Knoxville, Tennessee to play our film for the Regal team. A fun little city and a we met a great group of people working at Regal which made the trip well worth it. We are very excited to partner up with them on the film's release.
